I was born in Cameroon and grew up in France, where the French language has been an intrinsic part of my life since childhood. I learned French both naturally through family and friends, and academically through my studies and a lifelong love for literature. Holding a master’s degree in language didactics, I am deeply passionate about languages and the learning process.
For over 10 years, I have been teaching French as a Foreign Language (FLE), and I’ve had the pleasure of working with a diverse range of students: children, teenagers, and adults—including professionals, students—in both general and specialized French. I am also certified to prepare, assess, and grade DELF exams, bringing a structured and goal-oriented approach to my teaching.
I began my teaching journey in France, supporting allophone teenagers and adults who needed to learn French for integration. Later, in London, I conducted numerous lessons for children to enhance their grammar and vocabulary, for adults pursuing personal or professional growth, and for teenagers preparing for exams. My approach is rooted in adaptability, as I tailor each lesson to meet the unique needs of each student, whether online or in person.
With Gaëlle Clarence & The French Tutors, my goal is to provide every French language enthusiast with a dedicated native teacher who will guide them in achieving their individual language goals. We are committed to continuously refining and implementing a personalized approach to empower learners with new communication skills and make the journey of learning French both rewarding and enjoyable.

Myriam is an experienced and dedicated French tutor with a passion for teaching and a talent for engaging students of all ages. With her warm and approachable demeanor, she creates a supportive learning environment where students feel at ease expressing themselves and learning through their mistakes.
Myriam is deeply passionate about the French language, and her mission is to invite you to explore it in an engaging and authentic way. At Gaëlle Clarence and the French Tutors, we are dedicated to continuously refining and implementing a personalized approach to empower learners with new communication skills. Myriam adapts her teaching methods to meet the unique needs and goals of each learner, whether they are beginners or advanced students. For her, teaching French is about building bridges between cultures and opening new horizons.
Myriam will guide you on this journey, transforming each lesson into an enjoyable and enriching experience. Since 2022, she has taught engaging French lessons to adult learners at the Language and Development Center, with a focus on practical communication skills. She also supports students in enhancing their comprehension, grammar, and literary skills to improve their expressive abilities.

Bonjour, Je m'appelle Marie !
My name is Marie and I've been a language teacher for 9 years. I grew up in France and then I decided to move abroad to explore the world. It's been a few years now! I taught FLE (French as a Foreign Language) in Spain (3 years) and in Fiji (4 years), I've worked with Alliance Française and the International School of Suva teaching from early childhood to proficient adults. I've even been
tutoring literature for native high school students (Diploma Programme) and certified to prepare, examine and correct the DELF exams.
Now, I'm living on a beautiful small island of French Polynesia called Huahine where I've been employed by the public secondary school to teach French and English for over 2 years.
As you can see I really enjoy teaching all kinds of learners and always try my best to adapt my lessons to their needs whether it is online or face-to-face. What I like about teaching is that I'm constantly learning too. On another hand, I'm finishing my Master degree in Didactics of Languages with the University of La Sorbonne Nouvelle this year. It comes as a professional
development for me.
You will have noticed by now that I'm fond of traveling and discovering new cultures On that note, I practice Tahitian dance, yoga and love outdoor activities.

Since earning her Master’s in Teaching French as a Foreign Language (FLE) from Sorbonne Nouvelle, Nadia has taught in bilingual and international schools across London. She focuses on helping her students make rapid progress in grammar, writing, and speaking, ensuring they gain confidence and mastery in all aspects of the language.
